Launching in the spring of 2026, EQUINODE is an interactive, online platform for visualizing and exploring health inequalities in Sweden.

EQUINODE compiles aggregated data from several national and regional registers, as well as official statistics from Swedish authorities, enabling a detailed and nuanced analysis of health inequalities across multiple population groups.

EQUINODE also provides access to popular science texts, news articles and fact sheets, in-depth reports with interactive graphs and maps, and summary analyses on the development of health inequalities in Sweden, written by CHESS staff and contributors.

The EQUINODE platform will mainly be available in Swedish, targeting policy makers, public health practitioners, and interested members of the general public.  However, selected news articles and reports will also be available in English.
